Most standard roof window installations can be completed within a single day. More complex installations, multiple windows or projects requiring internal finishing may take longer. We’ll always provide a clear timescale before work begins and aim to complete every installation efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
In most cases, roof windows do not require planning permission. However, if your property is listed, located in a conservation area, or the installation forms part of a larger renovation, additional permissions may be required. We’ll be happy to advise you based on your property and project.
Yes. We regularly replace old, damaged or inefficient roof windows with modern VELUX and Keylite roof windows. Whether your existing window is leaking, difficult to operate or simply outdated, we can install a like-for-like replacement or upgrade it to a larger, more energy-efficient model with minimal disruption.
A properly installed roof window should not leak. Most leaks are caused by incorrect installation, worn seals or damaged flashing rather than the window itself. As approved VELUX installers, we use the correct flashing kits and manufacturer-approved installation methods to ensure a watertight, long-lasting finish.
